Of course, the first thing you'll notice about the new Elantra model is that it's a four-door sedan that seats five people, and comes with a refreshed, sleek exterior design that looks great coming or going. There are six trim levels you can choose from for this car, including:

  • 2019 Hyundai Elantra SEL
  • 2019 Hyundai Elantra Value Edition
  • 2019 Hyundai Elantra Limited
  • 2019 Hyundai Elantra Eco
  • 2019 Hyundai Elantra Sport

      

The first engine up is the base option, a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. Standard on the Elantra SE, Elantra SEL, Elantra Value Edition, and Elantra Limited, this engine is also paired to a six-speed manual transmission, but can be ordered with a six-speed automatic if you prefer.

The second engine that's available is standard on the Elantra Eco model. It's a turbocharged, 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 128 horsepower and 156 pound-feet of torque. It comes standard with a seven-speed automatic transmission.

Finally, the third way you can have your Elantra sedan powered, is with a turbocharged, 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with 201 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. You get this impressive engine with the Elantra Sport, and you also get your choice of either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic transmission when you get this model.

New Safety and Tech Features Availability for the 2019 Hyundai Elantra

As part of its slight model overhaul for 2019, the Hyundai Elantra also includes more standard features and a whole-new infotainment system. Here's a rundown of some of the standard amenities you can expect to find on this new sedan:
